Responsibilities of Directors and Editorial Team
- The directors and editorial team of the journal will ensure the quality of the material that is published, with objective criteria, ruling out any discrimination based on ethnic origin, sexual orientation and religious, philosophical or political beliefs of the authors.
- The directors and the editorial team must protect the integrity and confidentiality of the confidential information provided by the journal's collaborators.
- Directors and the Editorial Team do not use the unpublished material for their personal or institutional benefit without the express consent and approval of the contributors.
- The directors and the editorial team undertake to select and assign suitable evaluators for the review of the publications, according to their area of competence and expertise.
- The directors and the Editorial Team will guarantee the anonymity of the evaluators and the authors of the material received.
- The directors and the editorial team are committed to avoiding any conflict of interest between the participants in the production.
- The directors and the editorial team are obliged to publish corrections, clarifications, retractions and apologies if the circumstance requires it.
- It is the directors' responsibility to promote transparency, according to the journal's evaluation protocol and according to established norms and guidelines; as well as communicating the results of the evaluators' opinions.
- The directors and the editorial team undertake to meet the established publication deadlines.
- Tenso Diagonal will not charge authors or collaborators any charge for the publication of their work, which will be available online and freely from the publication of the journal.
Evaluator responsibilities
- The evaluators undertake to apply transparent and objective criteria in their reviews, avoiding all types of ethnic, sexual or religious discrimination against the authors.
- The evaluators are obliged to warn the management of the journal about possible conflicts of interest, before the acceptance of the articles to be evaluated.
- The evaluators commit to collaborate in a rigorous and fair review process voluntarily.
- The evaluators must know and respect the evaluation protocols established by the journal, as well as the fulfilment of the terms established by the editorial management.
- The evaluators must respect the confidentiality of the material entrusted to review, and not to disseminate or use the contents of the evaluated articles.
Responsibilities of the authors
- Authors or collaborators will be responsible for the content of their articles and must guarantee the reliability of the data submitted, as well as guarantee the originality of the material sent and not infringe the copyright of third parties.
- Tenso Diagonal firmly rejects any situation of plagiarism, partial or total. The author or collaborator must show a correct recognition of the sources used.
- The authors must express the possible conflicts of interest of any kind that may exist, whether due to incompatibilities related to economic interests, institutional belongings, academic positions, labour or personal relationships.
- It is the sole responsibility of the authors to send the material in the format and style guidelines established by the journal. Tenso Diagonal reserves the right to reject those shipments that do not match the presentation.
- Tenso Diagonal does not accept previously published works, whatever the format in which it is based, or that is in the process of publication in other journals or publishers.
