La ostentación traqueta: una lectura literaria de la apoteosis social del narcotráfico en Colombia

Abstract

This article analyzes the meanings of the ostentation, like a theme and trope, in four Colombian novels. The corpus narrates how the money made possible the social apotheosis of drug traffickers, considered new heroes and archetypes of success; for that reason, we consider the literatura, as social discourse, let us understand the socio-historical processes that ensured the narcoapotheosis and read how violence crossed lives and bodies, changing human relations, in a country that is questioned by the permanence of the war and the meaning of life.
