Una sintaxis andrógina. Análisis de un cuento de Juan Introini

Abstract

Juan Introini (1948-2013) was a uruguayan teacher and writer. His writtings, included in recent years inside the tradition of the fantastic literature and studied under that perspective, it has begun to be spread in congressess and university courses. In this work we propose to analyze a story from his second book, La llave de plata (1995), titled “Andrógino”, investigating its peculiar syntax, in addition to the possible literary affiliations of the characters that compose it. Therefore, we will discern first the different positions about the genere, then we will investigate the philosophical and literary references of the androgyne, to finally be able to understand the syntactic complexity of this peculiar narration.
