Julio Ramón Ribeyro: Janampa y el ámbito de actuación en Mar afuera

Abstract

This article pursues the concept derived from the spatial activity defined by Valles Calatrava as a field of performance, and applies it to the composition Mar afuera, that belongs to the first volume of stories titled Los gallinazos sin plumas (1955) by Julio Ramón Ribeyro. The approach pursues a double purpose, on one hand, makes a narrative order of the story while studying the profile of the main character. On the other hand, attends to the outcome according to the author's perspective.
